Thanks for appearing on the show, it was simply amazing to have you. You were invited because your ideas are provocative, insightful, interesting and meaningful to our community. Relationships and Sexual Health, Panel Discussion, Villanova University, Office of Health Promotions – April 2009
Thanks so much for participating in the panel. I’ve done several programs on campus and I will admit that you were able to grab the attention of the males students like no one else has. When asked if students would attend a similar program in the future, 80% of the students agreed that they would. Students are most interested in hearing about relationships and we seem to discuss it the least! All of the panel and my director who attended agreed that you were definitely a needed component and a highlight… job well done!
Thanks again,

Genius for Men Conference – Opening Plenary Speaker – May 2009
An emerging and fresh facilitator, George James knows how to equip you to embrace your full potential. Mr. James kicked off our inaugural Genius for Men conference, as an opening plenary speaker. He worked closely with us to tailor his workshop to the spirit of our conference, which was to challenge young men to be their highest and best self. We look forward to including Mr. James’ authoritative voice in forthcoming events.

Symposium for Men of Color: Playing the Cards You Were Dealt,” Keynote Speaker, Villanova University, Paragon of Villanova – November 2008
George James was a guest speaker for an event titled, “Symposium for Men of Color: Playing the Cards You Were Dealt,” which took place on November 15th, 2008. The event was organized by The Paragon of Villanova, a Black male leadership society which I am the Provost of.
Although George was asked to participate in a short notice, he was more than willing to reschedule other obligations to be a part of something he thought was worthwhile. George exceeded my expectations with his presentation. Using the established theme, he touched upon all of the objectives given to him. A plethora of energy and enthusiasm, allowed him to deliver a relevant presentation which held the audience’s attention the duration. George is a critical thinker, charismatic presenter and a genuine person. These are some of the qualities that make him such an excellent orator.
I was very impressed with the contribution George made to the event. After the event was over, a conversation with a few event participants revealed that George had motivated and inspired them to realize their potential. This is one of the most important goals we wanted to accomplish with the symposium. George James was an important part of making that happen.

Communication: Why we do what we do, Speaker, Anointed Sisters in Christ – August 2009
When we, the Anointed Sisters in Christ, initially invited George James to speak at our couples bible study all we knew was, we wanted to learn about relationships from a Christian male perspective. The first year I liked how George used worksheets to draw us into the discussion. He helped us to see the correlation between our childhood memories and the people we choose to be in relationships with. The second year, George did a fantastic job of illustrating the art of communication through different stories in the bible. By the time we all warmed up, there were so many questions and comments, that George was barely able to get through the material. We were having so much fun that we hated to see George leave. After George left, everyone continued with the discussions for another 30 to 45 minutes. It is amazing how passionate people are about the topic of relationships. You’re right George, people are always interested in learning more about relationships. We sincerely appreciate how you presented a lesson that was tailor-made just for us.
Thank you again,
Syeeda Martin -Director, Anointed Sisters in Christ
